• The appliance has no power or the programme will not start.

• “Behälter leeren“ (Empty drum) is lit up or is blinking and it gives off a sound.
• “Sieb reinigen” (clean sieve) and “Behälter leeren“ (Empty drum) and all the programme cycle displays are blinking and it gives off a sound.
• The programme stops without any obvious reason.
• The drum illumination (depending on model) does not function.
• The washing is still too damp or the drying time takes too long.
• The washing ends up matted or shrinks.

The appliance has no power or the programme will not start.
1. Switch on a programme.
2. Check that the “Start” button is pushed in.
3. Check that the dryer door is properly closed.
4. Check if the cable is correctly plugged into the mains.
5. Check that the fuse is working in the plug.

The appliance does not react to your instructions.
1. The selected combination of additional functions is technically not possible.
2. Check if the child safety switch is switched on.
3. If the problem remains: Unplug from the mains, wait a few seconds and then plug in again.

One of the programme cycle displays is blinking and the programme appears to be stuck.
1. The pre-selected timing phase is running (depending on model)

“End/Knitterschutz” (anti-crease) is blinking and it gives off a sound.
1. The anti-crease phase is running (2 hours long): - switch off the machine and take out the washing

“End/Knitterschutz” (anti-crease) is lit up and it gives off a sound.
1. The programme has ended. Switch off the machine and take out the washing

“Sieb reinigen” (clean sieve) is lit up.
1. Please clean the filter.

“Behälter leeren“ (Empty drum) is lit up or is blinking and it gives off a sound.
1. Please empty the water drum. Finally push the ”start“ button.
2. Check if the is drain hose is attached.
3. If the display remains: Clean the water supply nozzle (above in the track of the water drum)

“Sieb reinigen” (clean sieve) and “Behälter leeren“ (Empty drum) and all the programme cycle displays are blinking and it gives off a sound.
1. The continuous operation limit has been exceeded (after 3 hours of continuous operation). Switch the appliance off and on again.
2. If the problem remains: Switch off the appliance and call customer services.

The programme stops without any obvious reason.
1. If you have changed the programme group, please push the “start” button.
2. If a power cut has occurred, please push the “start” button.

The drum illumination (depending on model) does not function.
1. Please switch the programme selector to 0 (off). If the bulb is defective, please contact customer services.

The washing is still too damp or the drying time takes too long.
1. Check if the drum is overloaded.
2. Improve ventilation. Check the ventilation slot.
3. Check if the filter needs cleaning.
4. Continue drying with an appropriately timed programme.

The washing ends up matted or shrinks.
1. Only place washing in the dryer that is recommended for tumble drying in the care instructions.
2. Only dry with programmes recommended  for the particular type of article.
